Indeed, a living green roof can weigh upwards of 250kg per m² and that simply wouldn’t have been suitable in this instance. The client needed a solution for year-round greenery, with the main purpose of improving the view from the apartment windows that overlooked the area. Good quality, suitable roof terrace plants can be difficult to source, either because they will struggle in the windy conditions, or just do not look realistic.

By installing a mixture of Vistafolia® Signature Panels, artificial turf and Caledonian pebbles to the roof, we were able to create a stunning artificial roof garden with no requirement for ongoing maintenance. Additional artificial plants were added into our panels to create additional height throughout, adding to the realism of the scheme.
